Complex shapings of helicopter windows are one of the special tasks of KRD Luftfahrttechnik GmbH. The cockpit windows made from polycarbonate have been specially developed for the high demands of aviation. External bird impact tests have confirmed that they maintain their protective function even with high impact energy. KRD Luftfahrttechnik GmbH was awarded the Airbus Helicopter Award in 2017 for these innovative solutions.
